Artist Statement

“Art is very personal to both the artist and the viewer.  I find it fascinating that for every painting, there is a viewer who feels a connection to that painting.  Some idea that has been conceived in someone’s studio and brought to life has found a home in someone’s heart. My passion for painting flowers in acrylic started a few years ago when I realized that I would need to look to the beauty around me for my inspiration for paintings because traveling with small children wouldn’t be an option.”
