Artist Biography
Born in Lloydminister, Saskatchewan and raised in Revelstoke, B.C. Travelled for a time and met Barry in Toronto. Resided in Drumheller since 1982. Writing and drawing have been a part of life since childhood, but were placed second when children arrived and family obligations took precedent. Participated in art courses when able, but mostly tried different things when the opportunity was there. Recently decided that art and writing will once again become a full time occupation and is looking forward to trying a variety of mediums.
Artist Statement
Painting, sketching, writing or whatever form of art I choose to create is the one absolute way of expressing my true self. It is a way to share with others my perception and enjoyment of the endless wonders of life. |
