Artist Biography
Karen grew up on a farm in the Morin area. As a young child, a favorite pastime was to take the dogs and hike back roads and grasslands on her parent’s property. Karen grew to love the prairie landscape, wild flowers, vegetation and the animals in their natural habitat. With an appreciation for it all, her eye for beauty developed. Karen didn’t start her photography until her adult years, but it was only natural, the love of nature as a child, led Karen to exactly that… nature photography.
