Artist Biography
Born in a small town near Montreal in 1949, Robert spent 20 years traveling extensively throughout Canada and the U.S.A, working in art galleries from Montreal to Miami. He studied art restoration under European masters in the U.S. while also continuing to paint. Robert now lives in Drumheller, Alberta with his wife Darlene, his son Nathan, and his daughter Katelyn.

“I begin each painting with a vague idea of what I want to do — as the paint flows, the painting takes form and creates its own feeling. Painting is like mother nature -- it can be unpredictable, and that’s what makes it so exciting.” |
